I finally tried this yesterday and the chocolate was very soft and creamy and the nuts were mostly on the bottom and very crunchy. I was pleasantly surprised!

Birthday Cake Pop
This adorable pink Birthday Cake Pop is a great treat for young and old alike. Just like the name says, its like having a piece of birthday cake on a stick. When the "young" kids have this they will keep asking to come back to Starbucks and it won't be for the caffeine. Would be great with a cup of hot chocolate and whipped cream!
What is your favorite Starbucks Drink?
My favorite hot drink is a Venti triple shot skim all foam cappuccino and for a cold drink i like an iced coffee half sweetened with a splash of whole milk. I did try the new hot and cold cocoa cappuccino which is very good and a nice change, but for the most part, i will stick to my two old standbys. Almost forgot........since the warm weather is on its way, i do love a Java Chip, no whipped cream but the chocolate drizzle on top...yum. I don't get this very often because the calories are higher than an iced coffee and I do not like the "lite" version. What is your favorite drink?

The Tribute Blend: A Review
As most Starbucks coffee-drinkers know, each day Starbucks will serve both its Pike Place Roast and a bold selection of the day. In honor of the 40th Anniversary of Starbucks, the Tribute Blend will be the bold selection of the day for a limited time.
The Tribute Blend, a new addition that will not be around for more than a couple of months, is a multi-region blend that is unlike any other Starbucks beans I've tried. It has the boldness of the Komodo Dragon Blend or the Sumatra Blend, but its much smoother and less bitter. According to the Starbucks website, the Tribute Blend is "Spicy and full-bodied, with berry and dark cherry notes".
I'd give it a try even if you don't usually enjoy bold coffee, because the Tribute Blend has a unique smoothness not usually found in bold or extra-bold coffee. If you're like me and prefer a more bitter taste, then try this blend black for a slightly harsher flavor.
Oh, and if you prefer to use Starbucks Via for the sake of convenience (or if you keep it for when you're short on time),you can now buy packages of Tribute Blend Via. If this blend grows on me enough I might actually pick up a package of the Tribute Blend Via to save for after the beans have sold out.
Red Velvet Whoopie Pie
The Red Velvet Whoopie is one of the cutest new Petite Treats from Starbucks. Each one is made of soft, dark red cake, and is filled with sweet cream cheese frosting and contains, miraculously, less than 200 calories. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who doesn't like cream cheese frosting though.
If you enjoyed the red velvet cupcakes Starbucks has had in the past, then you'll be surprised to find that these taste even better. They'd taste great with a mocha or the new cocoa cappuccino.
Thank you to the Starbucks website for the adorable picture of the red velvet whoopie pies above. I'll post my own pictures of them soon.
Petite Lemon Square and Peanut Butter Cupcake
These two petite desserts are my favorites. The lemon sweet square is very creamy and only 120 calories. The peanut butter cupcake has chocolate cake and peanut butter frosting topped with a peanut butter cup...yum! a must for peanut butter lovers and only 180 calories.

Iced Cocoa Cappuccino and Carrot Cupcake
Above are two of Starbucks newest items, the Petite Carrot Cupcake which has 190 calories and cream cheese frosting, and the Iced Cocoa Cappuccino which is awesome. It has a shot of espresso, mocha syrup, milk, cocoa powder and foam and can be iced or hot. A tall has only a little more than 100 calories.
